Mamta Rehab Centre celebrated International Yoga Day with enthusiasm and active participation from students, therapists, special educators, and staff members. The celebration featured an inclusive yoga session thoughtfully adapted to the individual abilities and needs of the children. The session included warm-up exercises, adapted yoga postures, breathing techniques, and relaxation exercises, followed by engaging activities such as balloon breathing, balance and stretching games, and movement-based activities.
The programme provided a joyful and supportive environment that encouraged physical fitness, flexibility, balance, coordination, posture, concentration, and breathing control, while also promoting relaxation, confidence, teamwork, and social interaction. The celebration highlighted the importance of incorporating healthy and mindful practices into the children’s daily lives and contributed towards their overall physical, emotional, and social well-being.
